| WebTranslate is a Perl CGI script that automatically generates PO files for GNU gettext programs. The output file will then be emailed to the project maintainer, the submitter, and stored in an SQL database (MySQL or PostGreSQL supported). It allows the user to select the language from which to translate. Hence, the translator does not need to know the language that the author used, or the details of the PO files syntax. |

It stores contact information of people in an LDAP database using a unique user ID (UUID) for each contact. It's faily configurable. The perl scripts are not platform independant (though they do require PerLDAP), and they can interface with any LDAP database with only minor configuration adjustments.
